Swat admin imposes curfew

MINGORA: Local administration in Swat district imposed a 24-hour curfew on Wednesday evening, sources said.

The curfew declared by the local administration would be in place from 6:00pm on Wednesday till 6:00pm on Thursday. It is believed that the curfew has been imposed due to a possible movement of the army troops. Earlier, troops had entered the Matta tehsil and had established a post in Khwazakhela as the militants had fled the area. saleem athar
